LOTRO has a interesting way
to create some character individuality. This is by the use of traits, which
are gained from serveral methods. These are: Race, Class, Legendary and
Virtue. Gaining traits are done differently for each but all are equiped
by visiting a bard in Middle Earth. Traits are gained as follows:
Race: Gained
from killing creatures that have racial hatreds.
Class: Gained
from using Skills/Spells of you chosen class.
Virtues:
Gained through exploration of Middle Earth or Purging the lands of foul
creatures.
Legendary:
These are gained through the location of Books and pages.

your off-hand weapon more efficiently, dealing greater damage to your foes.
Strike from Shadows - You are able
to land precise blows when attacking while using stealth, increasing your
chances of landing a critical hit with suprise strike, cunning attack,
or provoke.
Disabling Attack - You are able
to use your disable skill to greatly reduce your enemy's speed.
Trickster - Your dust in the eyes
skill affects multiple enemies nearby.
Footpad - Your ability to move about
with stealth has developed beyond your natural aptitude
Focused Eye - You are able to take
aim more quickly than you once did.
Side-step - You are able to evade

Heart - an area buff, giving 4 hope in a small area centered on where you

Istari - This skill calls upon song to blast your enemies with an area-of-effect
